ReciKey™ · Family recipe keeper
Keep the recipe and the voice that taught it
Save your family’s recipes the way they’re really shared: Grandma telling it in her own words, the old card in her handwriting, the tricks nobody wrote down. Then cook from them together.

How it works
From their kitchen to yours in three steps
Record or add a recipe
Record someone talking through a dish, film it, snap the old recipe card or paste a link. ReciKey writes it out as a recipe you can cook from.
Ask family, or anyone
Send a link to your grandmother, your tía or the neighbor with the best tamales. They tell you the recipe from their own phone.
Cook it together
Share it with the family, follow it step by step in cook mode, and keep their voice right next to the steps.
No app needed
Ask anyone for their recipe
Send a link by text, WhatsApp or email. It opens on any phone, right in the browser. Nothing to download, no account to make.
Speak it or write it
One big button to record, like a voice message. Or they can type it out, or paste a recipe they already have.
In their own language
The page works in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Chinese.
Add a photo of the card
Have it written down? They can add a photo of the card, handwriting and all.
Straight to you
What they send lands in your ReciKey, ready to become a recipe.

Family heritage
The voices stay with the food
The best recipes were never written down. They live in a phone call, a stained card, a “cook it until it looks right.” ReciKey keeps all of it, and who it came from.
Their voice, kept
The recording stays with the recipe, so years from now you can press play and hear them tell it.
Credit where it’s due
Every recipe says who it came from. Tío Rafa’s mole lives on Tío Rafa’s page.
A family tree
Lay out who is who across the generations, and see which dishes came down which branch.
The story behind it
Add who taught it, when you make it and what it means, not just the steps.

In the kitchen
Made for cooking with flour on your hands
A recipe only helps if you can follow it at the stove.
Cook mode
One step at a time, with that step’s ingredients right there. The screen stays on while you cook.
Timers from the steps
A step that says “simmer 20 minutes” gives you a 20 minute timer, one tap away.
Any number of servings
Scale a recipe up for the holidays or down for two, and the amounts follow.
What can I cook?

Questions people ask
Does Grandma need an account?
No. You can sit with her and record on your phone, so she never touches the app. Or send her a link: she opens it on any phone, taps record, and tells you the recipe in her own words. No account, no download.
Can it read a handwritten recipe card?
Yes. Take a photo of the card and ReciKey writes out the ingredients and steps. The photo stays with the recipe, so the handwriting is never lost.
What if it gets something wrong?
Every recipe can be edited. Fix an amount, reorder a step or add a note. The original recording or photo stays attached, so you can always check.
Do I need exact measurements?
No. Save it the way it’s told, a handful here and a pinch there, and add notes in your own words.
Who can see my recipes?
Only you, until you share. You pick the family members you connect with and what they can see. Nothing goes on Discover unless you post it.
Can I record someone telling a recipe?
Yes, that’s what ReciKey is made for. Just ask first: some places require everyone in a recording to agree to it.
What languages does the recipe link work in?
Eight: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Chinese. The link opens in the language you chose when you sent it, and the person can switch at any time without losing what they wrote.
Can I cook without a signal?
Yes. Your recipes sync to your account and are also kept on your phone, so you can open them and cook in a kitchen with no signal.
How much does ReciKey cost?
ReciKey is free to download, with optional in-app purchases. Typing in recipes is always free, and the free plan includes 500 MB for photos and videos. A subscription adds monthly AI credits and more space. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
What happens to my recipes if I cancel?
Nothing is deleted. You move back to the free plan and keep every recipe, photo, recording and video.
