Accounts & Sharing
Accounts & Access
An account is required to save, organize, and access your recipes, recordings, and family collections in ReciKey.
Private by Default
Your recipes and memories are private by default and only visible to you and the people you choose to share them with. ReciKey is not a public social network and does not share your content with strangers.
Sharing & Family Circles
You can invite family, chosen family, or close friends to view or contribute to shared recipe collections. You control who has access and can update or remove permissions at any time.
Control & Deletion
You can leave shared spaces, remove members, or delete your account at any time. Account deletion is available within the app, and your data will be removed in accordance with our data retention practices, except where required for legal or security purposes.
Content & AI
You Stay in Control
You can upload or record recipes through text, photos, audio, or video. AI tools may help organize conversations and recordings into readable recipes, but you review and confirm what is saved.
Your Family’s Recipes Stay Yours
You remain the owner of your recipes, recordings, and memories. ReciKey helps preserve them, not take ownership of them.
AI That Supports, Not Replaces
ReciKey’s AI helps capture and organize family knowledge so it can be passed down clearly. It does not publish or share your content without your permission.
Your Content Is Not Used to Train AI
We do not use your private recipes, recordings, or family content to train generative AI models. Your memories stay yours.
A Respectful Space
We provide reporting and moderation tools to help prevent misuse and support a safe, respectful environment for all users.
Data & Subscriptions
Clear Data Practices
We collect only the information needed to operate ReciKey, such as account details, your recipes and recordings, and basic usage data. We do not sell your personal data.
Your Data, Your Control
Your recipes and memories remain private and accessible only to you and those you choose to share them with.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are optional and managed through your device’s app store settings. Payment is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play.
You can cancel at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, you will continue to have access to available free features.
